The singer-songwriter is frequently acknowledged as an innovator in a range of genres of music, such as blues and rhythm as well as gospel, jazz soul, gospel and funk. Wonder, who was a solo artist made use of synthesizers to produce electronic music during the 1970s. The result was a revolution in the R&B genre.
